Clifford A. Phaneuf Environmental Center, Porter Lake
Renovation and addition to the unique ECOS environmental center for the Springfield Public Schools. The design integrates learning with environmental principals by aiming to achieve LEED Silver, maintaining and restoring the original building character, using pond based hydro-geothermal heating and photovoltaic panels and creating a new multi-purpose room and accessible access.

EcoBuilding Bargains formerly RESTORE: Adaptive reuse of former warehouse for recycled bulk retail center. Restore collects building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, cabinets etc..and resells them to the general public in a bulk retail setting. The project features a deep energy retrofit, LEED Certification, high efficiency heating system and recycled timber vestibule in filled with recycled sliding glass door panels.
